Laura Krantz is a journalist, editor and producer, in both radio and print. Her writing appears in various publications including Newsweek, Outside, Smithsonian Magazine and Popular Science.
She's spent over a decade working in radio, currently on a freelance basis but most recently as the lead editor of Take Two, a news magazine show at Southern California Public Radio (KPCC) in Los Angeles. Prior to that, she edited and produced for NPR's Morning Edition, Weekend Edition, and All Things Considered in Washington, DC.
In 2014-15, she was a Ted Scripps Journalism Fellow at the University of Colorado Boulder. Krantz holds a BA in History from Whitman College and an MA in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). She lives in Denver, Colorado. For now.
